The Humans

Humans, shaped in the image of the divine king himself; they arrived on the world of Idama (or Ni Aeter as they would call it) a few centuries ago. Dwarves are quite fond of them, Elves consider them to be an invasive species, and Efreet think of them as dishonorable brutes.
Their society follows the philosophy of divine right, their kings are chosen by the gods themselves and anyone who dares to speak otherwise is swiftly silenced.
The origin of humans is largely unknown, but their sages tell that that beyond the stars there actually are many more human inhabited worlds. Their warrior gods are said to have conquered hundreds of planets and Idama seems to be but another obstacle in their way of universal domination. Scholars of other species debate if there is any truth to this story, but humans are adamant that this is the truth and anyone who questions it is secretly conspiring against the order of civilization itself.
This little snippet of lore is meant to be part of a set of quick introductions to the species of Idama (or Ni Aeter); more will follow.
