The origin of life in the universe (or something along those lines).

Let us start at the start.

At the beginning of time there was a thing of pure chaos.

Out of this chaos crawled 17 radiant beings, these are more commonly known -by the few that do know of them- as the titans.

The 17 titans were the first sapient beings in the universe. After they adjusted to the horrors of existing in a reality that was (relatively) stable, they started to think about what to do with their newly found existence. In the eternity that they contemplated stars and planets had already filled the emptiness around them, yet the titans still felt as if something was missing.

None of them knew why, but the roaring chaos that shaped them refused to bring forth other lifeforms on its own, thus the titans felt lonely. After this moment of realization it did not take long for the radiant beings to learn how to harness the power of creation by taking it directly from its source. Sometime of experimentation passed, and finally the titans were able to shape new life themselves.

With the creation of new lifeforms the titans discovered a few new things; firstly that not every being is able to maintain physical form in close proximity to the primal chaos, a mistake which they quickly corrected by simply moving further away. The second thing they learned was that new life wouldn’t be able to prosper without a habitable world, they solved this problem by “injecting” bits of primal energy into a barren planet, kickstarting a reaction that’d cause an unliving world to grow into a habitable one. Finally they found that immature life meant immature conflict, to prevent their young creations from destroying each other the titans devised a plan…

Spears were forged out of materials taken from the first stars and planets, and filled with energy from the chaos. The shafts of these spears were engraved with the fundamental rules of harnessing the primal chaos, by teaching new life to harness this power the titans hoped that one day new radiant beings would emerge out of those that had mastered the art of creation.

As the spears where thrown towards distant corners of the galaxy, the titans followed. With the impact of each spear more life started to form, the radiant beings watched as their creations grew and flourished. Satisfied the titans withdrew themselves into hibernation, hoping to one day be awoken to beings that could equal them in power.

I have no idea what to call this. But it's probably the best genesis story I could think of.

Maybe I will rewrite it someday into something more grandiose.

Anyhow

May the Powers guide thy way to enlightenment,
